BEGINNER CLASSIC CERTIFICATION
Who is this course for?
The Beginner Classic Certification is for anyone new to lashing or for those already certified in lashes that don’t feel they were given proper training.
There are no educational prerequisites to our Beginner Classic Certification and no experience in the beauty industry is required. Our Classic course is open to anyone interested in making a career change or increasing their income by becoming a lash artist.
This course is a prerequisite to learning volume lashing.
Students must be over the age of 18.
2.5 Day Private and Semi-Private Training.
In your beginner classic lash certification course, you’ll learn all the foundational techniques and information you need to succeed as a lash artist.
With the skills you learn in our beginner course you’ll be able to use premade volume fans and YY lashes, so you can offer classic, hybrid, volume, and YY sets to your clients.
Courses are 2.5 days and private or semi-private with a max of 3 students each.
Course Content
In our Beginner Classic Lash Extension Certification you’ll learn:
health and safety as per current provincial guidelines
eye and lash anatomy
contraindications for lash extensions
consultations
which products to use, which products to avoid, and how to use the awesome ones we give you
styling
classic lash extension application (mannequin head practice and 2 models)
removals
fills
best practices to give your clients the longest lasting extensions
lash photography on your phone
how to set up a clinically clean workspace
insurance and licensing information
how to get and keep great clients
your next steps to start growing your business and build skills as a lash artist.
Model Requirements
Each student will be required to provide a model for the second and third days of the course. You can use the same person both days if it’s more convenient for you.
Models should have healthy eyelashes, not be currently wearing lash extensions, nor have had a recent lash lift.
Models must not have had a previous allergic reaction to lash extensions.
Models cannot be pregnant or under 18. They should be comfortable lying on their back for several hours.

Our course is longer.
Our Classic Course is 2.5 days, making it longer and more comprehensive than most available certifications. This means you leave with more knowledge, skills, practice, and confidence to get lashing.
Our courses include two supervised full sets. During your model sets you’ll have to opportunity to ask questions as they come up, and have an experienced lash artist to help you safely handle problems that arise.
Courses that run for 1 day or teach combination classic/volume techniques are not sufficient to learn how to apply lash extensions well or safely. For reference, our Classic manual is over 150 pages. It would be impossible to cover the necessary information in 1 day.
We give each student a kit worth over $500.
We set you up with a massive lash kit full of products we use and love so that you can hit the ground running.
It includes a whopping 20 lash trays (3 curls, 2 diameters and 7 lengths) so you’ll be able to style any client.
We also include AHS approved disinfectants, so you can start providing professional and safe services to clients as soon as you leave the course.
Professional atmosphere.
Our courses are run in a professional lash studio that is licensed and inspected by Alberta Health Services. During your course you’ll learn how we run our business, care for our clients, and maintain a clinically clean studio.

Total course price is $1,550 + gst.
A deposit of $600 is required to hold your spot in the course. All deposits are non-refundable but are transferable a maximum of 1 time to another course date. Course dates are subject to availability.
